Disney Cruise Line recently installed this display to recognize and thank those who have sailed at least 50 times on their ships! This was part of the cruise line’s 25th anniversary celebration. The Castaway Club starts after your first sailing and you start getting perks like early booking, welcome aboard gifts, and more.

On Castaway Cay, don’t worry, you’ll be fed there too! Your meals are included in the price of your cruise, including sodas and ice cream. We had a delicious barbecue cookout lunch and tired the ice cream sandwich hack. Note, try just one cookie and split in two next time 😅

Once we got off the boat, we saw some of our favorite pals! Minnie and Goofy were wearing their new outfits. How cute are they?!

Day ✌️was our visit to Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay!! We started our morning with double breakfast. Had our continental delivered first thing to enjoy in our stateroom and verndah. Then headed up stairs after getting ready for the day for the warm food including Mickey Waffles!

Following the shopping, we did our own little bar hop on the ship. We stopped in at the Star Wars themed Hyperspace Lounge. Very cool entrance where you hit a button to enter the lounge. Then we stopped in at the piano bar, Nightingales, a Cinderella inspired area. We of course had to get the very, well, interesting bird drink, Sweet Nightingale.

Our last stop was actually our favorite. We could have spent the entire evening at the Bayou. The live band playing 80s hits with some warm beignets, sooo good! I had a nightcap Irish Coffee and spent the time enjoying the vibes.

Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?!

After dinner and seeing the first of three broadway caliber shows (more on that later), we were blessed for an evening out as Sierra’s parents sailed with us and watched Anna that evening. There are also kids clubs and a nursery available!

Our evening started off with some shopping of course. We grabbed a couple of shirts, ears, a new hat, and ship ornaments. These shops are only open while at sea, and pro tip is to go the first night as items can sell out!

Our first rotational dining experience was at Worlds of Marvel aboard the Disney Wish. During your cruise, there are three main dining rooms that you can enjoy. This first dining room featured superheroes from the Marvel universe including Ant-Man, Wasp, and newly added Spiderman!

As always, the meals were delicious, the entertainment was thrilling, and memories were made. Best part, Sierra didn’t have to cook or clean dishes, Brad could eat whatever he wanted, and Anna got to see Spidey!

Let’s set sail! The Set Sail on a Wish sailing away party is a key highlight of a Disney Cruise!! Let’s start the recap of our Disney Cruise Line adventure! We sailed on Friday from Port Canaveral on the beautiful Disney Wish. Upon reaching the terminal, we grabbed a couple pictures and headed straight to the ship as all boarding groups had been called!

When I stayed at Pixar Place Hotel, I experienced a club level room. This allowed me entry into the BRAND NEW Creator’s Club lounge. Throughout the day, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lite snacks, tea sandwiches, and evening appetizers. You could also grab a coffee, selection of alcoholic beverages, juices, and sodas.

I also adore the Pixar theme park decor all around. From attraction posters to ride models, and even actual Pixar land items like a light from the former It’s a Bugs Life Land in Disney California Adventure.

Check out what is new at EPCOT! The CommuniCore Plaza Stage outside of the new CommuniCore Hall will play host to “¡Celebracion Encanto!”. This will be a fun interactive show for guests to sing, dance and answer trivia about Encanto.

Lamplight Lounge is the perfect spot for a casual meal with Pixar theming. Here you can enjoy customized cocktails, such as the Scream Canister (pictured), and delicious food like the Cheddar Burger, grilled custom burger blend with cheddar, tomato, lettuce, red onion and avocado ranch spread on a toasted Amish bun.

I enjoyed looking at all the Pixar decor, including an actual memorabilia from the development of Toy Story! Can you figure out what it is?

We have lost a Disney Legend. 🥺 Richard Sherman passed away today at the age of 95.
