The popular Fixer Upper TV show is filmed just 35 minutes away from us. We have maps and inside information that will direct you to the Magnolia store and supply you with addresses of some of the projects that have been featured on the show. You will be able to visit the Harp Design store along with many other stores featured on the show, http://www.hgtv.com/shows/fixer-upper. Then there are two great Mexican Restaurants for lunch, either La Fiesta or Chuy’s Mexican Cantina. Texas Hill Country:
This is an amazing day trip that we have taken many times, and we are always ready to go back. You can catch an early lunch at Coopers in Llano, which stays in the top 5 best BBQ joints in Texas. From there you can hike up Enchanted Rock, then take the beautiful drive into Fredericksburg. Do some shopping, tour the many wineries, visit the Wildseed Farm and have dinner at The Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble Falls on your way back to complete your day. This trip covers a lot of ground and can be completed in a day without traveling the same roads for over half the trip. Outdoor Movie Theater:
