Debbie is doing a daily numerology now through her page Debra McDermitt Numerology & Sacred Life.
Numbers of Today 4/8/2022:
Major: #9, #18, #8
Minor: 4, 12, 14, 16
CC: This is a karmic love day, as you send it outward, it will return.
Norris: The vibrations of universal compassion, kindness, empathy, and love are strong today. It is sometimes best to handle your own affairs, but that balance of the ego is key. Opportunities and fortune vibrations are there for the ones that know persevering through troubles is possible. Being a good organizer, the vibes of wondering and wandering may prompt opportunities to write.
Delving deeper into the Norris #9
The primary vibration of 9 is the universal compassion which includes empathy, kindness, and love. It is a number of hope for peace and as a multiple of 3 connects still to the spiritual concept of love and light of the divine.
However, there are other meanings related to the #9, especially when other numbers are present. With 3, 7, 900, and 21 the spiritual dimension is expanded with a search or desire for unity and peace. Any of the 90’s numbers or 9 when doing location type readings implies real estate or wealth connected to the earth (such as gems, oil, gas, etc.). This can also in a vocation or life path chart point to someone who is a real estate agent handling many homes or in relation to traveling numbers point to traveling more to the south.
Also, if we are looking at a health chart and seeing where the 9’s are in relation to numbers in the 60’s we see an emphasis on the heart, the gall bladder, or who is in a sour disposition (wants to stay depressed even).
The Sacred #9
The ancient philosophers, Pythagoras, and others saw the 9 as the ennead, which in Egypt was a group of nine deities. It is the first square of an odd number, #3. It was associated to a degree with failure as it was one short of 10. The number of man due to its connection with pregnancy, there was a connection to the ocean or horizon which is boundless (as should man be). The Eleusinian mysteries took this connection to pregnancy and saw it as the spheres of consciousness one passed through for birth. For the Greeks there are nine muses. As we move towards Western or Pythagorean Numerology, we find 9 as the number of humanitarianism, sympathy, the divine life, the life of selflessness, yet also could indicate moodiness and an inclination for high living.
If we head northward to the Norse, we find the world tree Yggdrasil which supports nine worlds. Odin hung upon Yggdrasil for nine days and nights and then had the runes as the reward. If we come to the ancient America’s, we find that for the Mayans their underworld consisted of nine levels and the same in the Aztec underworld.
Chaldean numerology looks at a 9 person as being impulsive and also quick to forgive and forget. The 9 represents aggressiveness, courage, but also a degree of vulnerability. The 9 personality has a strong sense of generosity and a view of give, let go, and tomorrow can take care of itself.
Judaism. In Hebrew nine is tet – ט and in early appearances can be seen as being beneficial and even a hidden or inverted beneficence as it is connected with pregnancy. In this hidden, then revealed aspect nine is associated with the truths of the Torah. In Kabbalah numerology the 9 is service, selflessness, fortune, luck, and completion. The life of the person with a 9 in Kabbalah numerology is one of serving others, selflessness, and defining fortune and happiness on their own terms. The 9 is compassionate, generous, and works towards the concept of tikkun olam; healing or repairing of the world. In relation to the sephirot the 9th is Yesod, meaning "Foundation." This foundation is a task to connect wholly to all and remembering the truth. Yesod is seen as balancing and is foundation upon which God built the world.
Hinduism, Indian, Tamil. Nine, or nevan, is the highest of the single digits and it is thought that there are nine main planets. Bhagavatapurana states that there are nine forms of devotion. While no letter is directly a nine the nine does come up in Vedic and Tamil numerology. More towards the Vedic side the 9 is associated with one who will love without qualifications and who is a hard worker. Associated with Mars the 9 lives their spirituality rather than just talking about it, they are direct, and have a balance between action and idealism. Leaning more towards Tamil we see that 9 has a keen interest in the feelings of others and are strong with intuition and empathy.
There are traits and roles of the #9 in Christianity, Buddhism, and Chinese Religion & Culture, however Friday is a day I read, and I must prepare. I hope that you have enjoyed the daily numerology report and the lessons. Please note that after tomorrow where I will look at 1 and 10 that there will be changes to the lessons so as not to be as repetitive. If you have any questions or comments get in touch.
