Summer is HERE and that means pool season! ☀️

You asked, we listened! 👂

Mountains Away now offers pool passes to the Gatlinburg Community Center's INDOOR pool. 🏊‍♀️

This is a LOCAL community center, which means it exists for locals and they regularly use the pool for swimming laps, water aerobics, etc. and while visitors are welcome, the facility can only handle so many while being mindful of current members.

Lucky for us, we're not a big cabin rental company 😉 and we have awesome guests so the community center was willing to partner with us! Sometimes and in this case, it's better to be the "little guy."

Make sure to ask about the pool when you book! 📝

We are truly honored to be acknowledged for doing what we love. Getting to know our guests and providing a comfortable place for them to make memories has been such a joy. We are especially grateful that our guests and Legends Hideaway Chalet remained safe during the recent wildfires but we know others weren’t as lucky. Our hearts go out to our community, our Smokies and everyone who was affected

Some behind the scenes photos of our recent updates. We’ve been waiting for things to slow down to get these lights up and they’re such a big improvement! They replaced a dated ceiling fan (with no remote) and a glitchy pendant that always went out. Thanks again to the team at Cabinology for coming in clutch as always and getting it done!

After a busy holiday season and our first winter in the Smokies, we took a short break (can you blame us??). 😅

Now, we’re back and ready to welcome Spring guests at ! We still have March dates available but not for long!

11/29/21 The TN Division of Forestry has issued a High Fire Danger rating within the Sevier County Area. Burn Permits are required for any open burning between October 15th through May 15th. Be sure to obtain a Burn Permit from the TDF www.burnsafetn.org , or contact your local Municipal Fire Department for those who live within those Municipal Jurisdictions.
