😃 Great news: the mandatory boil water notice is lifted!

💧 All customers can resume normal use of tap water, effective immediately.
💧 It is now safe to consume un-boiled water.
💧 Please, run your faucet for a few minutes to clear any remaining water in your pipes.

We are so thankful to be hosting our amazing guests again and returning to normal. We can't wait to see everyone soon!🌲

🌲 We'd like to Welcome You Back to White Oak Lodge and Resort! 🌲

We’re happy to announce that water service has been restored at the resort, and we are now accepting reservations for this weekend! 🎉 Thank you for your patience, and we’re excited to welcome you back.

Please note: The resort is still under a boil water advisory. For your safety, please boil any tap water before drinking, cooking, or brushing your teeth.

To help conserve water, we kindly ask you to:

- Please do not use the hot tubs if your unit is equipped with one.
- Limit bathtub use and take shorter showers.
- Use the washer/dryer sparingly.

⚠️ Important: We cannot be responsible for any illnesses caused by not following the advisory, so please take these precautions seriously.

We hope that the boil advisory is lifted soon, but in the meantime, we warmly welcome you back to the resort!

Good afternoon, folks. We have a small update to share while we are still awaiting details - we have gotten our water service back! We are under a boil and conserve notice and we are in the process of being able to accept guests again, soon.

We'll post another update as we have more information about when we'll be able to do that. If you have upcoming reservations remember we will contact you the Wednesday prior to arrival if your reservation is affected.

We cannot wait to see all of our guests as soon as possible!

Hurricane Helene update 10/1/24 7pm CST:

Unfortunately, our resort is still without water. We are currently unable to accept guests through the weekend.

If you have an upcoming reservation, you'll be notified by the Wednesday before checkin if water service is not restored.

We will post another update as we have it available. We look forward to hosting our beloved guests as soon as we are able.

We have made the decision to evacuate our current guests and close our upcoming reservations until further notice. The safety of our staff and guests take utmost precedence. Hurricane Helene update 9/28 11am CST:

Our hearts go out to everyone in the Smoky Mountains and Western NC. The hurricane has caused mass destruction and complete devastation in our surrounding areas from flooding and mudslides. Our prayers are with everyone in all areas affected by this devastating storm.

White Oak is operational, but we are experiencing a water shortage due to the situation.

- Our resort staff will be attempting to purchase as much water as they can from nearby stores to distribute to guests that are currently staying at the resort.

- If you have an upcoming reservation, we are still accepting guests but please be advised that the resort is not expected to have water for 1-2 days, and could be longer so please be prepared.

- Please also be cautious and follow all local guidelines when traveling to the area as routes may be affected due to washed out roads and flooding.

Everyone stay safe out there and we’ll post any updates here.

What a gorgeous tribute to our country! 🇺🇸

Has anyone visited this spectacular (longest in North America!) suspension bridge?

An American flag can be seen from the Gatlinburg SkyBridge over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. It took eight volunteers to drape the 60-foot American flag over the bridge, according to Fox 35.
