This is my great great grandfather’s cabin. So glad they are keeping it up.

This year, the Forever Places crew completed important restoration work at the John Ownby Cabin, a 19th century log cabin in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This project is part of Forever Places, a program funded by Friends of the Smokies that supports a a historic preservation crew with specialized skills to repair and care for 100 year old park structures.
