📣 RELEASE ALERT 📣

November 2021 at little Lake Brewing, LLC

McPherson | Lager: In the spirit of the steam brewing process from the 19th century, the McPherson Lager is brewed using a natural cooling process. The fermentation uses lager yeast at ale temperatures resulting in a beer with a blend of lager and ale characteristics.

Behind the Name: The steamboat McPherson made daily stops at the Long Point dock to drop off park visitors as well as local cottage residents. Named after Col. James A. McPherson, who had it built in Lakeville in the early 1880s, it was the largest and most famous ship that ran on Conesus Lake. It had three decks that could hold 1,000 passengers, a dance floor, and a refreshment bar.

📣 RELEASE ALERT 📣
October 2021 at Dublin Corners Farm Brewery

The Gentleman Boss | Bourbon Barrel Aged Irish Ale: Brewed with NYS malt and hops. This classic-style ale features a rich caramel malt flavor, hints of hoppy bitterness, and a warm bourbon finish.

Behind the Name: Chester A. Arthur, 21st President of the United States, was the son of a Baptist minister and moved to York in 1837, attending the Old Brick School there. His infant brother, George, is buried at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York. Arthur was a gentleman – an interesting man with superb social skills and fastidious manners. Even as one of the top operatives in New York’s Republican political machine of the corrupt 1870s, he was nicknamed the “Gentleman Boss”. "His favorite meal was a mutton chop with a glass of ale or a slice of rare roast beef with hot baked potatoes and fruits."
