💰 I hear all the time how expensive Disney is!

However, take a look at the cost of other local/regional amusement parks. You see, this is why I like numbers, they don’t lie.

Sure Disney is expensive, but what isn’t these days? The atmosphere, complimentary services & variety of entertainment makes Disney a shoe in for your next vacation.

Disney announced today their dates for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (Disney World) & Oogie Boogie Bash (Disneyland). Prices range from $119-$199 per ticket. MNSSHP has sold out every night for the last two years.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Dates:
August - 9,13,16,20,23,27,30
September - 2,6,8,10,13,15,17,20,22,24,26,27,29
October - 1,3,4,6,8,10,11,14,15,17,18,20,21,24,25, 27,29,31

Oogie Boogie Bash:

⬅️ Throwback Thursday

My first trip to Disney/Florida was February 1995 at 4 months old. We went every year as a kid. The second photo was of the last few years of our yearly trip. Our Disney trip was the holy grail for my pop-pop Duck, mostly because he could sneak off at night time to go watch dirt racing kick off at Volusia or Eastbay. The last photo was our most recent trip in 2022. Addie was only 4 months old at the time. It’s funny how life comes full circle.

I have so many great memories and even better ones now as a parent seeing the excitement in my kids eyes. Looking back; I see why those trips were so special to him.

This seems like a no brainer but is a common misconception, especially among first time Disney travelers.

The last time I did a cost analysis for staying off proper in an Airbnb vs on property it was $42 dollars cheaper staying off property.

Here’s one of the bright sides of using a travel agent: right now discounts only run until the beginning of July 2024. However, once promotions are released for your dates I can make the change, saving you money on your trip, without you having to sit on hold for hours to make a modification.

Hiya Friends! 🏰

I know I haven’t posted in a while, and for good reason. Each time I wanted to make a post about something happening at Disney, something else was released! There’s been so much happening since the start of October so take some time to learn about all the magical things happening. 💫

Let’s start at Disneyland:
1️⃣ Beginning January 30th you can now stay at the reimagine Pixar Place rooms at the Disneyland hotel.
2️⃣ Disneylands downtown district is getting a massive overhaul, featuring renovations and an expanded Dining and Entertainment area.

And of course the ever popular Disney World:
1️⃣ Gingerbread houses are returning! These beautiful holiday displays are making their much anticipated return at select resorts: Animal Kingdom, Beach Club, Boardwalk, Contemporary, Grand Floridian and Yacht Club
2️⃣ Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana had a soft opening to start the month and for the last week has permanently opened. This beautiful water and light display is one you’ll surely want to see. But enthusiasts be wary, the longest wait time for this attraction this month exceeded 7 hours!!!
3️⃣ runDisney released the medals for the 2024 Disney Princess 1/2 marathon 🏃
4️⃣ Starting November 6th, Blizzard Beach is reopening!
5️⃣ Possibly the greatest update of all; starting January 9th, you will no longer have to wait to use your park hopper until 2PM. This restriction is the main reason I never found value in it. Now that you can park hop all day it is certainly something you should consider for your next stay.

Disney News as a company:
💰 As I predicted earlier this month, prices have increase across the board. Never fear if you’ve already booked your stay your price hasn’t changed. Disney rewards you for booking in advance! Annual Passed are up $50-$150, Standard tickets are up $5-$15, Parking increased $5/day, Memory Maker increased $6-$16. If you’re looking to save some cash, Disney has a handful of deals going on right now for almost any trip through the end of March.
🍿 Once Upon a Time is released on Disney+. It’s a great 15 minute short celebrating Disney 100, and characters reimagined to celebrate 100 years!

⬆️ Disney Prices Expected to Rise

The calendar has turned to October which means Disney’s new fiscal year has begun. With that happening there are rumblings of pricing expected to increase.

There are two great offers currently being offered on vacation packages. Don’t hesitate if you’re considering a Disney vacation. A $200 deposit is all that’s required to secure your trip!
