This was our second day in Cuba. We did an open air car ride in the old cars up to Hemingways house !
So much fun! These old cars are so unique! How in the world they keep them running and finding parts! Thank goodness this day was beautiful! The calm before the storm ! The marks on the bathroom wall is where Hemingway wrote his weight every day . The last noted weight was the day he left Cuba . Everything in the house was left just as he left it thinking as the revolution just started , that he would be back in a few months. After we went to Hemingways house we drove to the town on the water where he kept his boat and fished.
Then on to lunch at another boutique house and restaurant called the Claxon house! Food here is wonderful!
In the evening we went to a cigar and rum bar -will post pics of that later
Hunkering down at the hotel right now watching a cat 3 hurricane come through!

Welcome to Cuba!
This is an experience!
I had not been able to post yet due to some internet issues but hopefully that is resolved !
The first night we arrived we went to a small boutique hotel and restaurant called La Bodega!
Food was wonderful! Everyone knows you can enjoy cooking classes in Italy but did you know you can take cooking classes in Cuba! Learn all about the Cuban food scene !
We also had entertainment which was a violin player with African influence in the music!
