The Disney Destiny will sail its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 20, 2025! Disney is offering this special 4 night cruise that includes both of their private islands!

This ship has new, one-of-a-kind theming with all of your favorite Disney heroes and villains!

After the maiden voyage, the Destiny will offer 4 and 5 night cruises to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean! Every sailing will include a stop at Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay or both!!! Select cruises will include Nassau, Bahamas or Cozumel Mexico🚢🏴‍☠️⚓️❤️

Don’t get me wrong! I love the idea of using Disney gift cards for my Disney Vacation or Disney Cruise but want to offer three important things to remember.

1. Once you use the card to make a payment towards your trip, don’t throw away or destroy the cards, keep them in a safe place.

2. In the event you have to cancel for any reason, the credit will go back on the gift card (see above), it will not go back on a credit card that you may have used to purchase them and they are not refundable. So you could have thousands of dollars that you can only use at Disney.

3. Make sure they are Disney Cards and not Disney + (the TV streaming company).

Happy August friends! It’s hard to believe it is that time of year again! Kids are heading back to school and that busy season that comes with it is upon us. Before it gets crazy, it is time to get a vacation on the calendar! If you don’t have school age children, now is a great time to travel. If you do, now is a great time to think about fall break, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. Disney, Universal, a cruise or all inclusive vacation take time to plan!
