The areas I primarily venture into are the inlets of Georgetown & Mcclellanville, SC targeting redfish (aka: red drum or spot-tail bass), trout, flounder and more. Had a nice couple on board the other day and things were back to normal. Wife's Reds were just a little bigger than husbands but he didn't get poochy mouthed about it and was proud of her. Turns out the last bite we had before calling it a day he was up and WOW did he get rewarded.... 25.25" / just over 5 lb Trout! YEAH BABY!! (And she was happy for him!)

Jim fished with me back in April with his buddies, came back this time with his "better half" Ms. Jane who use to spend her summers in Georgetown with family back in the day and loves it. Hard to believe she had never caught a Redfish. Honored to help her check that off her bucket list. Told Jim to be humble with his bigger one because it's usually the other way around on my boat!

Included this Red in the previous post a minute ago but I just had to give it it's own. Coolest paint job I've ever seen on one. Record for number of spots on my boat is 17 caught earlier this summer on a 30"er. This little " Blue Tail" had 16 (8 on both sides). Actually prettier to me than the 30" record holder!

Our grandson had a blast fishing today! He caught two 28 inch redfish, and 4 stingrays!! He fought them all, but the stingrays were too much to handle so I helped land those to the boat. Great memories were made today!!

Grateful to have had repeat clients onboard yesterday who included a new to me "fish head" with them and got his first redfish capture (30")! While we didn't put up big numbers we did get quality, big fun "cutting up" with each other and mother nature gave us plenty of time to get out there until she decided not to wait any longer (yeah, we got rinsed off on the way back)!!

Had the pleasure of introducing another one of my repeat clients on Friday to the naturally scenic waters adjacent to Georgetown SC along with some of the history of this area. Didn't sore mouth a bunch of fish but did get a couple nice multi spotted reds (one had 15 spots between both sides) in the shallows. We couldn't have custom ordered a more perfect spring day and agreed that; "There were a lot worse things we could be doing!"

You never know what you might see here in the North Inlet of Georgetown! My client hooked a stingray, but a Spinner Shark wanted it it more! Fun watching a little tug of war action!

Turned out to be a good day of fishing!! Great clients and great weather!
