Tomorrow is the day we will be open and ready to issue UTV, ATV, Golf Cart, and Scooter Permits!

Come to Gerald Mo Police Department to get your 2025 permit on Saturday, February 22, 2025 between 9AM and 12 Noon! The Police Entrance is at the back of the City Hall building at 106 E. Fitzgerald Ave., Gerald, MO 63037.

New permits are $25. However, if you had a permit in 2024, renewal permits are $15. Please bring your drivers license and Insurance as the information is requested on the permit application. Before a permit is issued, your UTV, ATV, Golf Cart, or Scooter will be inspected by a Gerald Police Officer.

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS POST: With roads still not being clear, City Hall will continue to be closed today per the Mayor. This is to ensure all of our citizens and our employees are safe. The City Clerk is available to answers phones, so payments can be called in via telephone, you can also make online payments on our website https://customer.utilitybillingsystem.us/ #/login or at drop-box if you choose too. Please everyone be safe and stay warm. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to roads still being covered and wanting to keep our citizens and employees safe, City Hall will be opening later to give road crews time to clear streets. There will be an update at 10 AM to give a time. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Last night, the Gerald Development Association attended the City Meeting to propose the Rock Island Visitors Center. Working together as a community, at our Rock Island Visitor Center, we invite visitors to stop in Gerald and participate in our Midwest hospitality and activities, thereby building a more vibrant and prosperous community.
As a non-profit, our mission is to promote tourism in the Gerald community, encouraging visitors to stop in Gerald and enjoy our local businesses and industry.
As a HUB, we host interactive exhibits of activities within a 50 mile radius, between the Missouri and Meramec Rivers, celebrating our rural, farming, and railroad heritage. We are a member of the Missouri River Valley Loop.

*** CITY OF GERALD PARKS HAVE BEEN WINTERIZED***
Gerald City Park and Legion Park have been winterized and all bathrooms are closed.

GERALD CITY PARK has a porta potty available across the lake, but all bathrooms are closed and not available for use.

LEGION PARK has no available bathrooms outside. There are no available bathrooms at the Legion Park.

Bathrooms will reopen in the spring.

*Edit: The Ampstun Customer Portal is where you can pay your utility bill online. The Customer Portal has been and will continue to be free to citizens since we updated our billing software. Within the Customer Portal you can add or update contact information. We are requesting contact information to send notifications by SMS Text and Email quickly in case of emergency.

Please contact City Hall to update your contact information on your account.
We will be sending a TEST mass notification by text and email tomorrow.

You can also add or edit information on your Ampstun Customer Portal.
