Today we placed a monument for the great dogs we have experienced on the farm. Each was special and we appreciated all they did for us on the farm. Thanks to Wall Monument for your great work to honor these dogs.

After 18+ years, today marks our last day of boarding horses. We are taking a break. However, we would like to thank everyone who we have had the pleasure of sharing our farm with. The boarders, students and camp children we enjoyed sharing this property that God blessed us with. We still plan to keep the property in shape and we are now selling horse quality square bale hay from our fields. Special thanks to all of the friends that helped us with many projects throughout the years aka “Red Bank Stable Fitness Program”.

Most days are good on the farm, today was not so great. We had to say goodbye to Theodore due to an accident. Thanks to Norma for all she did to spoil this farm dog. Tuesday she gave him a spa day and posted the following picture. Keep us and his brother Brownie in your prayers.

While the recommendation to "practice social distancing" during this crisis is a solid one, the term is arguably vague and a bit too conceptual. Here are some clear instructions that horse people will have no problem understanding!

If you're looking for additional COVID-19 disease resources and updates, the Equine Disease Communication Center published a resource center featuring items to help horse owners navigate this disease pandemic. To learn more, visit http://www.equinediseasecc.org/coronavirus-resources

Today all of the horses were teaching us all a valuable lesson...social distancing. Many of them have been dreaming about this for days, some already get this on daily basis (sorry Ace and Tonto). As we are in the midst of a pandemic we at Red Bank Stables would like to remind you that we are here for you. We ensure your horses learn social distancing just as you are...that is 6 feet apart remember...and that their hygiene is taken care of (no they don’t need any toilet paper that everyone bought up they just let it air dry). Also, no they don’t need that bottled water they say that the well water tastes better!

Today was a hard day. I said goodbye to my best friend. He has been there through it all, the heartbreaks, the ups and the downs. He was there during the tears and the smiles. There are no words to express how big of a role he played in my life and there will never be a better cuddle buddy! Buster you will be in my heart forever and will never be forgotten!
