🎄CHRISTMAS IN JULY?!🎁

It was an evening inspiring travel by hosting a small event to advertise an Agent-led voyage to the German Christmas Markets in 2025! 🎄🌍

We had a full house turnout with a very informative speech given by Scenic - Luxury Cruises & Tours , raffle giveaways, and some very tasty cuisine!

Update July 3 : Peter will be sending out the trip details today.

Want to experience the gorgeous scenery of Greece? Germantown Travel is going back May 7 - May 18, 2025.

We'll spend 3 nights in Athens, 3 nights in Mykonos and 4 nights in Santorini visiting the most amazing sights, eating the most delectable foods and enjoying the hospitality of the Greek Island people. We've been there and have an outstanding itinerary planned.

USA! USA! USA!

You don't need to fly overseas to have an awesome adventure.

Anne and Kathy are currently in Moab Utah and spent an amazing day at Arches National Park. Hiking opportunities from easy to difficult, short to long as well as many scenic pull offs to get gorgeous photos/views if you can't walk far. You don't even have to get out if your car if you dont want to. Plenty of restrooms around the park, incredible picnic areas with shade and tables ( no concessions). Don't want to drive it on your own? We know how to make that happen too.

Anne has just returned from a 2night Miami Beach pre cruise stay and a 5night cruise on the Celebrity Summit. Her thoughts on the experience are below:

Miami Beach / Cruise Round-up

Miami Beach

It's really a gorgeous beach and a great destination for a couple days pre cruise, or an extended weekend. Knowing what hotel is best for YOUR needs is important as there are many to choose and each will provide a unique experience. Oodles of restaurants, great little takeaway/Cafe options and from what I'm told a "lit" nightlife. Be prepared to spend some $$ as it's not a budget destination.

Celebrity Cruises - Suite /Retreat
Is it worth it?

Yes. Suites are expensive. (Sort of - I was on an older ship with a much lower suite pricing than the new/bigger ships).
Anyone who knows me knows I almost always find the upgrades to be worth it. No exception here as I enjoyed the larger room, larger balcony and more attentive service. The services of a butler to assist with requests was great. He handles reservations, reserved theater seating, expedited and enhanced room service menu, daily check-ins to see how things were going.

The smaller, never a wait, upgraded menu restaurant Luminare, was exclusive to Retreat guests. Food was excellent as was the attentive service.

The Retreat Sundeck ( ) was absolutely the most perfect place to spend a day at sea to avoid the loud and busy pool areas. I'm not sure I can ever cruise again without this sanctuary as part of my trip. Food, beverages and a Retreat host were there to make sure you had everything you needed brought to you. Even a container of suntan lotion!

The Retreat Suites also offer the upgraded beverage package, faster wifi, a Retreat Lounge on board with additional snacks throughout the day, a full bar , as well as just a peaceful place to sit and relax. Check-in for the cruise was also handled expeditiously with no lines and a Retreat host to es**rt you through it all.

They key to having the perfect is vacation, is booking the perfect vacation for YOU and your expectations. This one met mine perfectly.

Today is National Plan for Vacation day.

Anne and Kathy just finished planing their trip on Rocky Mountaineer- Rockies to the Redrocks. Nettie is working on a trip to Scotland. Kim has planned a trip to the Gulf Coast beaches of Florida. Peter is still off on his South America/ Antarctica cruise.
