One of my favorite things about Disneyland is the unexpected character interactions…Here is Mary Poppins dancing and singing with the pearl band in front of the castle…magical!

We tried a new place on our last trip to Disneyland…the Tropicana Inn and Suites. We stayed in a theme park view suite on the third floor (top level).

Pros:
Location- this is right across the street from the pedestrian entrance on Harbor
Feel/decor- felt like a good modern twist on 1960s California motel style, bright colors looked fresh
Room- two bathrooms were so handy and there was a good amount of storage, queen bed was decent comfort level
Service- good service in lobby and Cove market

Cons:
Room- no tables, fold out couch was uncomfortable, linens were low quality, felt a tiny bit worn
Market is VERY pricy (more than Disney for some items)

I would not stay in that style room again as I didn’t find the extra cost worth what we got but I would consider a standard room or suite with two actual beds.
