An adult loon with 2 chicks are swimming off of Martin’s this morning 9/18/24. While high in nearby pine tree sits the eagle waiting for a meal. The adult loon has been crying in distress .

The Daily Goose Report: The snow storm totally missed us in New Hampshire . The sky shows an interesting pink color while the lake emits a low hollow growl.

Very large crowd at Gunstock today, a non-holiday weekday. Heavy snow must have encouraged a large number of skiers to take the day off from work and school. Traffic was backed up at 10:00 with vehicles bringing skiers to the mountain. Excellent snow conditions with natural powder on top of durable man made snow.
