Congratulations to Mr. Billy Byrd for being the winner of our Gilmer FFA Alumni Lawn Mower Raffle!

We would also like to again thank Gilmer Lawn and Garden for donating the mower for our raffle.

We are so thankful for all of our community supporters like Mr. Byrd and Gilmer Lawn and Garden for all they do to contribute to the success of our students.

Gilmer Yamboree Goat Show Results were as follows;

The Gilmer Goat Crew won the 2024 Yamboree Goat Herdsman Award. We must have received the award due to how many families and friends we had in our goat pen & surrounding area; working & helping each other throughout the morning before show. Congratulations & thank you to all for being such a huge support to each other throughout the day.

Showmanship Results;
Alli was awarded Junior Showmanship Champion and Conner was awarded Senior Showmanship Champion. Big Congratulations to these two!

It was a very successful and fun goat show, with several classes having 1st through 3rd place Gilmer goats.

Day three of Yamboree week was another great day for the Gilmer FFA! Over 30 broilers and rabbits in the sale!

Brooke exhibited the Grand Champion pen of broilers, with Audree winning Reserve Champion honors. Also, in the broiler show, Shelby was the Showmanship Champion, with Grace winning Reserve in Showmanship.

In the rabbit show, Kaydence was the Champion Senior Rabbit Showman, and Brinley was the Champion Intermediate Rabbit Showman.

Day two of Yamboree Livestock Show competition brought out the public speakers.

💥Ellie placed 4th in the senior division!
💥Markayla placed 2nd in the senior division!
💥Brookelynn was the Grand Champion in the senior division!

Yamboree Week has officially begun for Gilmer FFA!

We kicked off Yamboree with the Floral Cup and Horticulture Contest

6th Place Individual (tied for 2nd) - Marley
