🚞 Travel in style to Kimberly. Your tour includes a visit to the Mine Museum and the famous ‘Big Hole’. Arrive in historic Matjiesfontein, where the museum on the platform offers you a fascinating insight into the legacy of rail travel in this region.

🌳 Stop in Pretoria known as the "Jacaranda City" due to the thousands of Jacaranda trees that line the wide city streets, was founded in 1855 by Marthinus Wessels Pretorius, son of one of the original Voortrekkers, Andries Pretorius.

🦁 Head to Madikwe Game Reserve and enjoy two nights here, where morning and afternoon game drives give you plenty of chances to spot the Big 5, all of which inhabit the Reserve.

🌊 Stay in Botswana for a short while and then head to to Hwange Game Reserve in Zimbabwe on your way to spectacular Victoria Falls. At 1708 metres in width and 108 metres in height, this is the world’s largest sheet of falling water, and will definitely be a highlight of your trip.

🐘 While in Zambia, stop off in Kasama for an afternoon excursion to Chisimba Falls, then pass through Selous Game Reserve, the largest in Africa where you’ll enjoy 4 hours of luxury travel, viewing wild animals on both sides of the route.

🏠 Your final day ends in arrival in Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania until 1973. It is still the country’s largest city and holds many fascinating attractions. Affordable travel for everyone! Which destination are you headed to? 🌏🏝

While many of the world’s finest beach destinations lean on the luxury side, these spots are within reach for travellers with moderate budgets.

1. Thailand 🇹🇭🏝
Once you get past the international flight, Thailand is shockingly affordable. It’s also a place where you can more easily upgrade to the kinds of luxury travel experiences that you might be priced out of elsewhere. It’s full of beaches across the south, from the famous sights of Phuket, Koh Samui, and Krabi to lesser-known Hua Hin, Koh Tao, and Koh Phangan.

2. Bali 🇮🇩✨
A beach vacation to Bali is more affordable than you think. Also, a great beach trip to Bali isn’t only about the beach. While the sands of Seminyak, Nusa Dua, and Jimbaran will lure you to the famous Indonesian island, you can easily pair several days at the beach with a jungle escape in the interior.

3. Cook Islands 🇨🇰🌊

7 things to know before travelling to New Zealand:

1. ☀️ In New Zealand, seasons are opposite (like Australia), with summer occurring from December to February.

2. 💵 The NZ dollar is the only accepted currency. Bank machines and Interac are widely accepted.

3. 🍽 Tipping is not expected, but gratefully accepted. There is no need to tip drivers, porters, tour guides etc. In a restaurant, you may consider rounding up your bill to the nearest $5 or $10.

4. 🥝 The term 'kiwi' in New Zealand can refer to either a New Zealander, or the country’s national bird.

5. ✅ All travellers should have adequate travel insurance.

6. ✈️ North American travellers do require a NZeta, an electronic visa/travel authority prior to travel.

7. ☕️ When ordering coffee, ‘cream’ or ‘half and half’ is not a thing in NZ. Milk only. Brewed coffee is not widely available outside of a hotel breakfast scenario. You will not find many restaurants with a coffee pot - you are normally ordering a cappuccino, flat white, latte etc.
