One of my sons stopped over the other night and was using my laptop for a couple minutes for something we were doing. His comment? “Wow you can really tell what keys you use the most!”

Thankfully, high school typing class and many years of typing mean that I don’t need the letters on the keyboard to book your trips! ;-)

Congratulations to the U.S. Coast Guard and the crew of Disney Cruise Line's new ship, Disney Treasure, for a successful rescue! While rescues at sea by cruise ships isn't common, they're involvement is also not unusual.

A Disney cruise ship assisted the US Coast Guard in the rescue of four stranded boaters off the coast of Bermuda on Sunday.

Still celebrating Gratitude Month with a travel gratitude that you'll be surprised. This one is gratitude over NOT meeting someone who is famous and known for his giving, caring nature.

I’m grateful for missing meeting Bono. I was part of a travel agent group. We had just finished touring the Guinness Factory in 2004. Most of our group was now in the gift shop, but I went outside to have a cigarette. I learned that Bono came into the gift shop just moments after I left, resulting in me being one of the very few who didn't meet him. But why am I thankful for that missed opportunity? It was the last straw that pushed me to quit smoking. Thank you, Bono for your timing!

Continuing to celebrate National Gratitude Month with a twist on our gratitudes here being travel-related, I want to share that I’m grateful for meeting Michael Jackson’s biggest 9-year-old fan in Peru, having a wonderful conversation with him and, with his family’s permission, sending him some MJ paraphernalia.
