The tradition continues in Italian families in the Omaha, NE area. Prior Queens passing on the legacy to their daughters! Abby Distefano, is the 2022 Santa Lucia Festival Queen and her mom, Annie Distefano, was the 1998 Queen — and this is the 98th year of the festival!

Do you consider this a headshot or personal branding?
When potential clients call me for headshots but during the call we discover that what they are wanting is less corporate and more casual, this is Personal Branding. Personal Branding allows for a more relaxed atmosphere, more pose options, more connection, and so much more! When you call for a headshot, this is generally a head and shoulders image with very few other options.
Now that you have some background, would you consider this a headshot or personal branding?

WHAT COLOR SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY PAGEANT IMAGES?
One of the most asked questions is the what-to-wear question!
Classic images start with simplicity. The focus in the image should be YOU! Remember that most times, headshots are torso, up. Rarely do you see feet. So bring your slippers!
White, or a version of it that compliments your coloring, is always a good choice to keep your image looking classic -especially when we use a white or light background.

And just like that, they are not so little anymore.
Your little girl or boy is on their last couple of years of High School!

I am not gonna lie, when I went through these years with my son, it was hard! Knowing that his dreams and plans would likely take him away from Nebraska (which they did), made his last years here that much harder!

Don’t get me wrong, I wanted and encouraged him to go after all he dreamed of! Work hard and live life. I wanted that for him... but the mom side of me was selfish in wishing, just a little, that he would stay.

Our children grow up so fast! I want you to know I feel your pain... the struggle with seeing it all happen so fast is real. Their Senior photographs become so much more valuable when they are no longer at home ❤️ mom-to-mom...xoxo...
