After saying bye to the clients, we Couldn't pass up an evening on a flat ocean with two of my good Guide Buddies. We also pulled 5 pots and got a bunch of crabs. Couldn't ask for a better end to a great day. Left the trailer in the dark yesterday and got back in the dark. Life is good! Great couple days. Landed too many to count. Biggest of the day was a 19" and a 19.5". Non-stop action. Finished our last day at BassCamp today. Already booking trips for smallmouth bass April-July 2025.

Update on Fenwick rods. The handle of my Fenwick Elite busted (not the cork but the rod) after almost two months of trying to reach out work multiple calls, emails and messaging them on Facebook, I had a couple hours to spare the other morning so I called again and they finally answered. My info was found in their system but they said they will not honor the warranty (the handle was not covered under their warranty). I highly recommend staying away from and .

Reelmellofishing will be offering trips for winter steelhead (December/January) and Spring salmon (April/May) next year sitting on anchor. We do this out of our large 24' North River Sled with a fully enclosed top and heater. This is a very relaxed fishery (until the fish bites) sitting back telling stories and BBQing.
