Here in the rolling hills of Morgan County we are celebrating Valentines Day the whole month of February. We have one weekend left in February: Arriving on February 4 -22 and Departing on February 6-22. We also have availability during the week. A two night minimum stay is required and three nights stays for Holidays. Our guests will enjoy complementary cut flowers or balloons and chocolates the month of February. A short drive to Rocky Boots and Hocking Hills . The possibilities are endless !

BRRRRR Oak Winter Hike, scheduled for February 12th this year, is a great way to experience our region! The wintertime forest of Appalachian Ohio reveals many hidden wonders such as caves and interesting land features that you may miss during other seasons, when vegetation is thick.

Join fellow hiking enthusiasts for a great day of hiking! Four starting times and hike lengths include:
9 am--8 miles
9:30 am--5 miles
10 am--3 miles
10:30 am--1 mile interpretive hike

All hikes meet at the Burr Oak Lodge & Conference Center. Free bean soup and corn bread after the hike. Wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather.

Traveling to get here is just a part of the vacation. Enjoying the Appalachian Byway of Ohio or traveling on State Route 60 along the histori Muskingum River Parkway State Park will give you a pleasant scenic drive to get here. HERITAGE DAY IN McCONNELSVILLE WILL BE ON THE SQUARE ON OCTOBER 16TH FROM 12 TO 5 PM.
Many local vendors and Historic demonstrations will be on display along with homemade foods and great music. The Ohio Valley Opry is Oct 16 at the Twin City Opera House with movies on the other weekend days throughout the month. Lock #7, McConnelsville will be doing locking demonstrations during Heritage Day.
