Looking for something fun to do outdoors on Thursday and Friday (Nov. 28 & 29)? We thought a glass float drop would brighten up the holiday. A limited amount of floats will be hidden at and above the vegetation line starting at the north side of the path at South Beach Park (aka the Gold Beach Visitor Center) for a few hundred feet. Please just take one float and leave the rest for others to enjoy the excitement.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Shore Pines Senior Living Giving Tree. Come to the Visitor Center at 94080 Shirley Lane, pick a tag off the tree and have some fun shopping for the residents. Then bring the tag and unwrapped items back the the Visitor Center. You'll receive a gift from us as a thank-you. We are open 7 days a week, 9 AM - 3 PM (closed Nov. 28 & 28).

The elves (aka staff) will be wrapping "Dear Santa" gifts for the residents of Shore Pines again this year and need donations. Fall weather has set in! With changing road conditions, make sure your vehicle emergency kit is up to speed. 🚗🛠️

Pack essentials like blankets, a flashlight, water, snacks, a first-aid kit, and a phone charger. Always check the weather for your route and use Tripcheck.com or call 511 for road conditions. 🌧️❄️

Keep an emergency kit in your vehicle, here is your suggested checklist:

✔️ Phone charger, warm clothes, blankets
✔️ First aid kit, bottled water and nonperishable snacks
✔️ Jumper cables, flashlight with batteries, road flares
✔️ Ice scraper, shovel, tire chains if needed
✔️ Winterize your vehicle, keep a full tank of gas and a spare tire.
