These newly renovated rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are perfect for the Little Mermaid fan in your life. They're light and airy, spacious, and the underwater decor adds a splash of color and fun! Unfortunately, not all rooms at Caribbean Beach are Little Mermaid themed and you can't book this theme directly, but here are some helpful tips to increase your chances!
✨ Book a room in the "5th Sleeper" category. I booked a water view hoping I could see the Skyliner outside my window. (Which worked!)
✨ Request a room near the Skyliner during online check-in. These rooms are in the Trinidad section. Near the Skyliner, but quite the walk from the main building.
✨ If you plan to get to the resort before check-in, do not select the option to prioritize the room being ready early over your other requests during online check-in.

When in Disney, you're required to have a Mickey shaped treat. I don't make the rules. 🌴🧊
You can find this Mickey Shaved Ice at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Oahu, Hawaii. It's completely customizable with a whole variety of flavors. I had guava, mango, and pineapple!

Our first stay on Universal Orlando property was such a treat! 🌴
Not only did Loews Sapphire Falls Resort have great theming and stunning landscaping, but the amenities were so convenient. 🛍️☀️🍹 The short boat rides to the parks, the well stocked Universal store, and the beautiful pool deck were a couple of my favorite highlights. (As well as being greeted by King Julien when we arrived. 😂)
I highly recommend staying at a Universal resort. (Especially since a few of them offer complementary unlimited express passes... 😉)

✨It's a jolly holiday!🌂
You never know who you'll run into in Walt Disney World. I was looking for Winnie the Pooh, and stumbled upon an impromptu meet & greet with Mary Poppins, Burt, and the cutest little waiter. 🐧🎀
I had never met Mr. Penguin before and you should have heard me gasp when I saw him. 😂 He even gave a cute little wave to my husband who was resting on a nearby bench due to a recent knee injury. 💕 What a sweetheart!

Did you hear?? 😍 Tiana's Bayou Adventure opens in Walt Disney World on June 28th! 🌊🐸 Now, I'm not a water ride girly, but I can't wait for this attraction to open. It looks so cute!! And you know the music will be great. 🎶
I tend to avoid water rides... I don't enjoy getting wet and walking around in damp clothes for the rest of the day. However, there are a few water attractions that I had to ride at least once. Jurassic Park River Adventure in Universal Islands of Adventure is one of them! 🦖 I had to see what it was all about.
Is it dorky to wear a poncho on a water ride? Probably. Did it save me from getting wet? For sure! Will you see me wearing a poncho when I finally ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure? ABSOLUTELY! I'm not taking any chances. 😆☔

Happy B(earth)day to Walt Disney World's youngest park. 🌍💚 Disney's Animal Kingdom turns 26 today and I simply cannot get over how gorgeous this park is. With delicious food, unique attractions, and hidden treasures to explore, how can you go wrong?

Is ✨Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance✨ at the top of your list? There's something you gotta know...
This ride is truly like no other. A must-do for any fan of the franchise. 🌠 And with its popularity comes long wait times. The wait is regularly over 90 minutes. It can even get to 3+ hours during busy travel seasons like spring break or Christmas.
But here's the thing about Rise... The technology is incredibly advanced which can certainly be a pro, but the con is that it breaks down... A LOT! Even right now. I tried to showcase the long wait, but it's listed as "temporarily closed" in the app. I'd like to say it's rare, but it happens nearly every day. ☹️
So while this attraction costs a bit extra to access the Lightning Lane, I think it's 100% worth it. If this attraction is at the top of your list, like many Star Wars fans, I would hate for you to wait over an hour just for the ride to go down before you get on. 😭
At least if you've purchased Lightning Lane access and the ride is down during your return time, you can enter the Lightning Lane later when it comes back up. You could also rope drop it or get in line right before park close with minimal wait!
Or go to Disneyland. The wait tends to be shorter over there. 😆

Magic Kingdom! 🏰 A park FULL of popular attractions. Peter Pan's Flight, Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, and soon Tiana's Bayou Adventure!! 😍 Buying Disney's Genie+ service can be a great way to save time waiting in line. But you might find yourself with a little time to kill in between your Lightning Lane return windows...
Here are some fun filler activities!
🎡 Ride something that doesn't normally have a long line like It's a Small World or Journey of the Little Mermaid!
✨ Experience an attraction that's more like a show! Monsters Inc Laugh Floor or Mickey's PhilharMagic are great options.
🍿 Eat a snack! The Cheshire Cat Tail is one of my favorites.
🛍️ Do a little shopping on Main Street U.S.A. You may find your new favorite Disney tee!
📍 Do some pin trading with a few cast members! There are pin boards located in the merchandise shops.
🦎 Head to the Tangled break spot and look for Pascal and his friends! They're quite sneaky...

One more week until the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival returns and the France Pavilion graces us with the presence of this ✨ICONIC✨ springtime drink. If you're in Epcot during the festival, I cannot recommend it enough. 😍

How can you not love a Disney resort lobby? 😍
Especially the one at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Even if you're not staying there, it's worth a visit for the vibes alone. 🌺 It's truly immersive and there are SO MANY special, little details. One of my favs is that even though you've been transported to a tropical paradise, the magic is still in sight. ✨🥰

Disney After Hours vs. Extended Evening Hours... 🌃 What's the difference?
Both of these nighttime options provide a VIP-like experience with low crowds, low attraction wait times, and low temps out of the heat of Florida sun. It's a great way to get on some of the most popular rides! 🎢 However, it's important to know the differences when you see them on the park calendar during your next trip to Walt Disney World. 🏰
Extended Evening Hours:
⭐ Only available to guests staying at a Disney deluxe or deluxe villa resort.
⭐ Included with daytime park admission (a park hopper ticket may be required).
⭐ Access to the select park 2 hours after it closes to the public.
⭐ Historically, Epcot on Mondays and Magic Kingdom on Wednesdays, but the schedule is subject to change.
Disney After Hours:
🌙 Available to everyone!
🌙 Tickets start at $145 and vary by park and date (I can book these for you 😉).
🌙 Access to the park 3 hours after it closes to the public, but you can enter a few hours early without needing daytime admission.
🌙 Happens on select days at select parks.
🌙 FREE snacks and drinks such as popcorn, ice cream treats, soda, and water.

🧻 There's something about themed bathrooms that just make me smile. ☺️
Would a basic bathroom work? Sure. But the fact that Disney actually took the time to design a bathroom that fits into the aesthetic of the Norway Pavilion shows how much they care about the immersiveness of the park. 💖 Just look at it! Those stall doors are perfection. ✨

Festival of the Arts is BACK at Epcot! 🌐🎨 From the culinary arts, to fine arts, and even the performing arts, this festival is a celebration of creativity. 🎉 It's such a fun and colorful time to be in the park. Specialty food, art vendors, Broadway performances, and hands on activities for all you artsy fartsy people. 🧑🎨
In honor of opening day, I'm throwing it back to last year's visit with my galentines crew. 🩷 Wishing we were back there again today.

Epcot + 🎄❄️ = pure ✨
It may be short, but the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is packed with seasonal fun!! You can experience traditions from around the world, enjoy the festive decorations, and eat delicious food from all the holiday kitchens! Most importantly, it's the only time you can find the star of the cookie stroll, the linzer cookie. 🤤 Tart, soft, and full of winter spices... I dream about it. I need to find a recipe so I can enjoy them with my other annual Christmas goodies each year. 😍
My sister, my mom, and I like to get together and have a big day of making treats. I always make the puppy chow! 🐶

🍹It's and today, I'm thirsting for Epcot. 🌐
More specifically, a day at Food & Wine eating some of my favorite dishes like the Smoked Corned Beef from Flavors from Fire and the Griddled Cheese from Greece. And, of course, a frozen marg from Mexico. 🙌 All this paired with a ride on Spaceship Earth sounds like the perfect day. 😍

Who's ready to rope drop? 🙋♀️✨ As a morning person, I love to kick start my Disney day with a little excitement!
This is my favorite way to rope drop Disney's Animal Kingdom! 🌳🐯🦒
7:15AM - Arrive at the resort bus stop.
7:30AM - Catch the first bus to the park. 🚍 You might get a bus to yourself! 😆
7:45AM - Arrive at the park and be one of the first people in line for the day. 😎
8:30AM - Early entry begins! Head straight to Flight of Passage. 🐉 When that's done, check the app for the Navi River Journey wait time. If it's more than 10-15 minutes, save it for later and head to Africa for the safari.
9:00AM - Kilimanjaro Safari opens! 🐘 This is the best time do to this attraction. The animals are super active since they've just entered their enclosures. Once the safari ends, head to Festival of the Lion King.
10:00AM - Festival of the Lion King begins! 🦁 Guests are typically let into the theater 15-20 minutes beforehand. While the theater can fill up, it's a bit easier to get a spot at the first show since most people are elsewhere still experiencing their first attraction of the day. When the show ends, it's time for a morning break!
10:30AM - Nomad Lounge opens! 🍹 This is my favorite place to relax and grab a snack/drink. Plus, if you have a table outside over the river, it's a great way to see the characters float by! 🐭
The parks usually open at 9:00am with early entry for resort guests starting at 8:30am. While this stays pretty consistent, keep in mind that hours are subject to change.

Mr. Blinky, aka the giant Mickey pumpkin in Disneyland, is a fan favorite when it comes to the park's seasonal decor. It's truly iconic. 😍
