The San Juan Mtns in the fall! Great trip over Marshall Pass, Los Pinos Pass, Alpine Plateau, Owl Creek Pass, Slumgullion, Last Dollar Road and Lizard Head Pass. I camped outside of Lake City and Telluride. My riding partner sold his T7 so I was solo. He did it without my approvall so I was kind of pi**ed off. However I did drink all his beer when I stayed with him in Salida the first night. That'll teach him.

Monsoon season in the American West. Had a call the other day from some gents that I had sold a route to. They were stuck in the mud SW of Denver at 8:30pm. If you are on an Adventure Touring bike the mud is UNRIDEABLE! Make sure you get an early start and if it rains, take the pragmatic route and stay on the hard top. It's not like the ride will be boring. Any road, other than I-70, is going to be a great ride. I take my front mudguard off so that it can keep the front wheel turning. If it gets really bad then stop and wait it out. Don't burn your clutch out. Ride smart, start early.

Top Of the World to you. Or is that Top of the World road? A spectacular way to get to the top of Grand Mesa, outside of Grand Junction, CO. There are several great ways to go back down on hard top. Dirt up, hard top down, perfect for Adv touring.

Enough AI images! Utah does not need your help to look amazing. I love beautiful pictures from photographers who understand the nuance and patience required to take a beautiful photo. I will be blocking anyone who sends AI altered images. I hope others will do the same. A few of my pictures below, which do not begin to capture the wonder and beauty of the Canyon Country.
