Okay, If you don't know, now you know. Saturday, 24 June 2017 will be the last race for The Wood under my management. The decision to close was a simple one. However the choice to close was extremely hard. All business thrive and survive on constant support, patronage and membership all year round. If it they don't have the fore mentioned, they close. Nuff said. I like to thank all those that supported the track and I in any way. Most recently, Jerry Billmyer and Hank Jarman for their efforts and attempts at reviving the the Carpet Road Course and the Asphalt tracks. Again, thanks. I will see you in a driver's stand somewhere.

Try this again. Another great day on the asphalt Oval. We laid the loop and cover it and it worked like a champ. The most important project the day was getting the speakers hooked up and then it was go time. Once we where able to hear lap time, the search for speed was on. Hank Jarman and Jerry Billmyer set thier VTA chassis on the ground just on a thought and started out running 8.2s,8.3, and 8.4 by the end of the day, Hank was turning 7.7s.
Jerry's Grand National car started out running 6.6s and 6.7s. Before the sun went down, he manage to turn a 6.2, and and average 6.3s and 6.4s per lap and wore out is right front and rear tire to the "White Meat Show".
As far as my novak ballistic powered 17.5 Super Truck, we started the day with 8.6 and 8.7, with a 2.81 rollout six pinion teeth later and 3.29 rollout, it turns 8.2 and 8.3s. As we packed up shop, you smell the brain cell burning on how to get faster for next week.

Another good practice day down. Several dirt oval racer that came to set their chass up for some carpet oval. They even got some laps with a 21.5 pan car and was amazed how smooth the car handle in comparison. Several asphalt oval guy came to dail in their chassis. I even had time to dail in my asphalt oval truck.

1st Road couse point series race is
Saturday, 27 May 2017. Doors Open 10AM, rae at 1PM.

Carpet off road race start at 6PM.

Both asphalt track will be open for practice

It's capping time. Let's make capping great again!!! Both track will be ran. Asphalt road course is good and smooth. Jerry B. ran some laps with his VTA car on Friday past and commented on the good condition of the track.

Where to start? 1st I want to thank Ricky Kernodle for coordinating for and bring the Handout motors for the 17.5 Super Truck class. BIG UPs to the BRL organization for allowing us to use them. Secondly, I want to thank my Tech Team, Leslie Behler, Dawn Littleton and, Larry Boyd. Thirdly, to all the racers that attended, I am deeply humbled, grateful and, freaking ecstatic that you all attended the event and what a show you all put on.
Now about the races, tight racing all day long. the handout motors really proved who knows how to work a chassis. All the races heats, quals and, mains were excellent. But! if I had to pick the race of the day, It would have to go to the 17.5 B Main Super Trucks. I bet Milton Boyette is still shaking lol.
If you enjoyed the concept and order of the race, and want to see more at other events, let it be know. Rosewood RC Speedway will use the same concept for our next feature event. ACC/SEC Update. just informed there will be 3 Super Mods running at the 2017 ACC/SEC C.O.C.
N1. The Handout motors will be issued on Saturday, 6 May @ 7:00A.M.
N2. All 17.5T racers will be called to tech to draw motors.
N3. The 2 sets of WGT to be use for race day will get tech and stamp on 6 May

Hump day!!! As of this post there are 38 known racers attending the 2017 ACC/SEC C.O.C. on 5-6 May. I was informed of several more Grand Nationals Racers planning on attending.
Class numbers are as follow:
17.5 Super Truck = 22
21.5 Ooen = 3
SK Mod = 3
13.5 Open = 3?
Pan Car Busch Series = 4
Grand Nationals = 4?
10.5 Open = 6

N1. Pan Car Busch / Grand Nationals will run in separate quals
N2. The Battle for total Supremacy can be determined between the top two finisher of the Pan Car Busch Series and Grand National. To be ran after the Mains.
N3. I will be at the track Thursday evening about 6pm to start making final preparation and picking up supplies

As of this posting, if everyone show up to the event that said they will attend, 32 races will be in attendance. Unannounced racers are welcome.
N1. I am trying to match name with classes that I've seen you run.
N2. PM me what class/es you are planning to run so that I can put you in the LiveTime program.

N5. From what I can see, there are about 16+- 17.5 Super Truck racers sign up. That number is base on the names I know.
