Did you know there is a festival in Spain 🇪🇸 dedicated to throwing tomatoes at each other! The town wide tomato fight is part of a week long celebration in honor of the towns patron saints including, live music, parades, dancing, fireworks, and loads of good food!

🍅La Tomatina actually originated from a street brawl
🍅Around 40 tons of over-ripe tomatoes are thrown
🍅The food fight starts with ham! Before la tomatina can be begin someone must retrieve the ham from the top of a pole!
🍅Tomatoes are a natural disinfectant and it is believed that your skin will be left clean of All impurities
