The second part of your excursion is an exploration of a remote barrier island beach … an island that you only can reach by boat … an island that few get to experience. Our Photography Boat Tour guests are set up and looking for the perfect photos. Photograph areas seldom reached by others! Most of the 1.5 million acres in the Everglades National Park are flooded and essentially out of reach for average photographers and birders. Not on this Everglades boat tour experience. The whole area and your photography/birding opportunities change with the seasons; therefore, so do our tours. First, you will enjoy a quiet, leisurely boat tour through the Park's Ten Thousand Islands coastal ecosystem. Your naturalist guide will be on the hunt for all types of wildlife... Every day and every tour is different. Depending on the season and the day's conditions, you may encounter dolphins, manatees, roseate spoonbills, pelicans, ospreys, eagles, ibis, herons, egrets, multitudes of sea and shore birds, sea turtles and other saltwater creatures. After the boating tour, as conditions allow, your captain will lead you on an interpretive stroll on one of the Park's many uninhabited barrier island beaches.
