Thanks Dad,
For every cool car you passed up, for all the peace and quiet you never got, for always putting us five kids ahead of yourself. I never remember you having any of the extras, but you always managed to get us what we needed. I don't remember you with new clothes, but we always had new Levi's and the sneakers of the day. I don't remember you with any free time for yourself, but you fixed the car and took us fishing. I don't remember you catching much, but I remember you untangling my line for most of the day. I could go on forever listing what we got , because you went without.. So thank you Dad, for every little thing you were able to do, because when you put them all together, it was the world.
If there's a Father's Day in Heaven, I know you are sitting right up front.

At the southern tip of Maine's Schoodic Peninsula is Schoodic Point, quite possibly the prettiest spot in all of Acadia National Park. And since it's located in the Schoodic portion of one of the most visited national parks in the US, it only sees about 10% of the tourist traffic the main area of the park on Mt. Desert Island sees. Highly recommended if you're in Maine this summer.
