You never know what's going to happen on a ghost tour! Last weekend, I was standing in front of a house, telling the story for that stop, when suddenly from behind me, we all heard, "Mew!" I turn to see this tiniest of kittens running frantically through the front yard, beelining right to us, crying for help. One of our tour guests scooped her up. Shortly after, a large bird flew across the yard, crashed into a tree, landed in the grass and walked off. We think this baby had been dropped from the bird, and the bird was flying around trying to recapture its lost dinner! The house we were at is not currently inhabited, and the street we were on was not heavily traversed at that time, so had we not been there at that exact time, I don't like to think what would have happened. The kitten went home with another tour guest and she is currently living with their friend who works from home and whose neighbor is a vet tech. A very lucky baby indeed!

Sometimes, it's just too hot even for the ghosts! Due to the heat, we will be switching to summer hours.

We will be doing ONLY the 9:15 tour in July, August, and September.
