Now that traffic has slowed a little, a reminder that we run the lights for all 12 Days of Christmas! So, last night is January 6. Since I rotate the songs, the only way to see them all is to look at the posted list and come by. Each night runs just over 20 minutes before repeating.

"Most of the Lights" are working, though it may take a few more days to get it all connected.

I will start tonight with 4 new songs and one from last year (Top Gun). I'll add some of the old favorites shortly. Way too many to play on a single night.

Thank You for all your prayers and concerns. It has not been an easy week but this is something that Suzanne and I really enjoyed doing.

Family medical emergency. December 1st will not happen. Stay tuned. May be awhile

Emergency became tragedy. My wife of 49 years died on December 1. At this point, this year anyway, the lights in my yard are way down the list. I'll get them running when I can.

Well, it is December 8th and everything is fixed and working. Eight songs in the rotation with many more to add. I added enough new things that I have to tweak older songs to look nice on the new items. Sorry about the neighbor's RV blocking some of view. Perhaps it will move before Christmas.

Halloween (the Trick or Treat part) is over! We handed out just over 800 snack bags of candy and vampire teeth. First doorbell ring was at 5pm. We shutdown for the night at 9pm. Such perfect weather. Everyone was so happy to be out. Tonight (Monday) the lights and music will run until 10pm.

Tonight (Sunday) is Halloween in South Grove. Our streets (Meadowlark, Dove Hollow and Redbird) will be filled with hundreds of children walking door to door with their parents.

If you live in a neighborhood with ZERO trick-or-treaters and want to see lots of happy faces, come on by and help us pass out candy. We've got it pre-bagged so you don't actually handle any candy.

I say this to discourage driving by to see the Halloween Lights until after 7:30 or 8:00 (that's 1930 or 2000 for you military types). Monday night will be my last display night. Tear down for Christmas begins on Tuesday!!!!!!

Halloween is in full swing!
South Grove is "trick or treating" on Sunday, the 31st. If the weather is good, it will be VERY busy from 5:30 to 7:00. (and the forecast looks good!)
Come by this week and tune your car radio to 93.5. Songs range from Monster Mash to Thriller and People are Strange!

Will be getting Halloween going, starting today. Inflatables and some lights. The "music" portion may not be ready and running until Oct 25 unless weather and activities are very kind to me.

We will be doing actual Trick or Treat on Sunday the 31st! Accept no substitutes!
