New {old} bed frame at Hh! This was my mother’s for over 25 years. It actually used to be in the cottage next to Witherspoon’s Antique Mall when she rented it as a guesthouse. This has been quite the ordeal to get it to where it is now.

It was in storage, my mother and I loaded it in the back of her pick up. She didn’t put the tailgate up…while pulling out onto 377, she gunned it and the footboard fell out off to the side of the highway!! I can’t believe it didn’t hit anyone nor break apart into a million pieces. A kind gentleman helped load it back into her truck. It suffered some road rash but I was able to stain the scraped and now you can’t tell.

Then! I put the rails (that we forgot so another trip to the storage unit) together and someone a long time ago, welded the rails to the hooks upside down. We took it to a local welder to fix it. Fixed! Then!! I put it all together and there was a 10” gap! It was made to fit a Queen and I need a full. Off to the welder again. But now she looks pretty good at Hh! I am planning on painting the nightstand a dark color or find something different. Hopefully the next project won’t be so challenging.
