Incoming!!! Up to 2 FEET of fresh snow headed to Granby Ranch this weekend! Had we known this storm was coming we would’ve snagged our own weekend up there but a lucky local family will be enjoying the fresh new POW all weekend! Who’s braving the weather to make some turns this weekend? ❄️⛷🏔

West Mountain is now Open! The Conquest Lift is running with access to SkyDiver and Dragon Lady trails. Also, the Kicking Horse Lift right outside our front door is scheduled to open this Friday! We currently have ski in access to the condo but on Friday you’ll be able to literally ski in and out from the front door! Who’s ready? 🎿❄️⛷

Tried to catch our hummingbirds at the feeder but instead we got a visit from Steve, our local neighbor, the chipmunk. He likes to pop in to say hello from time to time. 👋🏼

We spent a much needed few days at The Retreat this weekend. One of our mini-adventures was exploring our new surroundings at Granby Ranch. With ski season approaching and the buzz about the fantastic downhill biking this place provides, we had to take a peek for ourselves. We made our way up to the top of the main ski lift and the trip was definitely worth the effort. The views are simply amazing. From the top you can see Winter Park, the town of Granby, many of the mountains that reside in RMNP and even Lake Granby. The summer views are simply beautiful but part of me simply can’t wait for what changes winter will soon bring! 🏔

Made a few improvements at The Retreat this weekend! We got rid of the old shades in exchange for something a little more appropriate for the space. It blocks so much more light (as the mornings are bright here) and they look amazing! Also added a Schlage Encode lock so we can remotely grant access to our guests with your own unique code for the duration of your stay. So much more to come! 🏠

Took a walk this morning to the top of the Kicking Horse ski lift that serves our condo. It’s such a beautiful area in the summer. But we can’t wait until it’s all covered in snow and the lifts start spinning again! 🎿

How does a round of golf with views like this sound?

Two words. Simply. Perfect.

We are so excited about all of the activity happening on AirBnB with our new place! We’ve only had it listed for a short time and can’t believe the amount of interest and bookings we’ve received!

We can’t wait to share our new favorite spot in Colorado with everyone and have so many updates to the condo coming soon! We are here this weekend celebrating the holiday and will be posting some before and afters of a few of the things we are improving, just for you here, at The Granby Ranch Retreat.
