Destination Granby has secured grant funding to replace the street light pole banners on Agate Avenue in 2025. The goal is to print multiple sets of banners to be displayed during various times of the year.

Where to watch NYE Fireworks in Grand County!

***Granby Ranch: 8pm***
Celebrate the arrival of 2025 with an unforgettable evening at Granby Ranch! The fun kicks off with a Kids Light Parade at 7:40; followed by Fireworks and the Torchlight Parade at 8pm. It’s the perfect way to welcome the New Year surrounded by friends, family, and the beauty of the mountains!

***Grand Lake: Midnight***
Set against the stunning backdrop of snow-capped mountains and the frozen lake, this dazzling show lights up the winter sky and creates a magical celebration at midnight to welcome the year ahead.

Ring in the New Year at Granby Ranch this Tuesday, Dec. 31!

***Kids Light Parade: 7:40 PM
Kids: Meet at Stagecoach lift base between 7:00 - 7:20 PM with valid lift ticket to line up and pick up glowsticks. Kids are also encouraged to bring their own glow sticks, headlamps, or festive lights to add even more sparkle to the parade!

***Torchlight Parade & Fireworks: Approximately 8:00 PM

***NYE Party: 8350 Bar & Lounge with DJ Marcie She until 1:00 AM.

Who says the fun (and skiing) has to stop when the sun goes down? Granby Ranch offers multiple evenings of skiing at night under several well-lit runs on the East Mountain. Enjoy the slopes under the stars, then warm up with a hot cocoa or a cocktail with family and friends at the firepit.

When the clocks skip forward, Granby Ranch will offer Twilight Extended Skiing Hours March 10-30th!

Night Skiing Times
Night Skiing is offered from 3:30 - 7:00 PM, meaning you can catch the sunset on skis on your first laps, then catch the moon and stars on your last laps.

Night Skiing Cost
Night skiing is included in a Granby Ranch season or day pass, or can be purchased daily for $54.

Night Skiing Tip
As the sun goes down, so do the temperatures, so be prepared by dressing in warm layers.

⛸️ Where to Ice Skate Near Granby:

- Snow Mountain Ranch: Enjoy scenic skating with mountain views (day pass required; includes complimentary ice skates).

- The Icebox Ice Rink in Fraser: The IceBox, a NHL sized, partially-enclosed ice rink, offers several open skate times each week. Be sure to check the schedule in advance. (ice skate rentals available)

- Grand Lake: In the early season, there is a free rink next to the playground in Town Park. Once the lake freezes over, Grand Lake offers a unique opportunity for outdoor ice skating. (includes complimentary ice skates)

- Winter Park Resort: Enjoy the scenic Village Pond in the heart of the resort. (skate rentals available)

Here are two ways to cut your own Christmas tree:

Option 1: U.S. Forest Service
- When: November 8 - January 7
- How: Purchase a permit online or at Granby Ace Hardware.
- Details: Make sure to follow guidelines for cutting and location. See our blog post for instructions.

Option 2: Snow Mountain Ranch
- When: November 29 - December 18
- How: Free for lodging guests; $29 for non-guests
