BlueLine Police K-9

BlueLine Police K-9 BlueLine Police K-9 was formed for K-9 law enforcement officers by experienced K-9 law enforcement officers to provide quality trained police dogs for them

BlueLine Police K-9 was formed for you, the K-9 law enforcement officers. Our trainers are either retired or active law enforcement K-9 handlers and are unequaled in experience in the training and handling of police K-9's. The dogs we have do not sit in kennels waiting to be chosen as they are pre-serviced and constantly worked right up until the time of sale. Dogs that enter our training class h

ave several weeks of pre-service training. We offer classes in all disciplines of training along with seminars and workshops to provide the latest techniques and information for handler, trainers and administrators. Our dogs are trained to be street ready and perform their work off leash upon graduation.

The Remote Collar Course for Police Canine
August 26,27,28, 2024
St. Margaret of Scotland Church
21201 E Thirteen Mile Rd.
St. Clair Shores, Mi.

This course is designed to show and teach the participants the most effective use of the Remote Training Collar. This unique course is designed specifically for Police/Professional K9 handlers and their dogs. The use of the collar enables the participant to mold the dog’s behavior by teaching attention through distractions.

Day 1:
Morning session: Paperwork, explanation of the collar, use of the remote collar and related commands. Afternoon session: Individual work with the participants and start of group lessons.

Day 2:
Morning session: Review of day one and group lessons with introduction to rules and boundaries. Afternoon session: Continued group work with introduction to level one distractions.

Day 3:
Morning session: Review of previous work and continuation of group situations. Introduction to level two distractions. Afternoon session: Introduction of level three distractions. Applications of training protocol for street work.

Objectives: To teach the handlers the most effective use of the Remote Collar. The program is designed to mold behavior through an attention-based training system taught under extreme distractions. The participants learn the proper use of the collar to control behavior in a positive, not negative, manner. The language of the Remote Collar method is taught. Motivation, Timing and Consistency. The class teaches the handlers to deal with problem behavior, using the Remote Collar, in all phases of police canine work. We give the participants the tools and the knowledge to deal with and correct common problems. Everything from losing focus on tracks or during contraband searches, dog aggression and a release during high drive, intense, handler protection work. The training also gives everyone the tools to have their dog under complete control, off leash, no matter what the environment or circumstances.

Classes are done with a 2:1, or less, student to instructor ratio. All instructors are former or current Law Enforcement Officers.

Cost of the Seminar is $875.00, which includes the Remote Collar.
