We spent the morning celebrating the amazing life of Captain Dana Bonney with family and friends. Our first fish of the day caught by Dana’s brother Rob ended up being our biggest of the day and at 26.14 lbs it won the Big fish side bet in our annual Big D memorial tournament. Big D was not just a friend to us all, he was so much more than that! There isn’t a single day that goes by without one of us telling a story about something funny he did, some idea he had or something he taught us. We are beyond grateful to be able to continue to honor him everyday by continuing to build the business he loved so much! We continue to strive to entertain our clients, make memories, and provide exceptional customer experiences just like he did. As the years continue to pass we will continue to dip the net hard exactly 3 times after we catch a fish, hang the fish all the same direction largest in the middle to smallest outside, clean our fish smallest to biggest, wear our bright yellow FishGH shirts and all the other small details that Dana taught us so well. He truly touched so many lives in positive ways. His legacy will continue to live on! We miss you Cap!
