🙏❤🏡 Big thanks to my Dad Don Bates and S-Mom Jeanne Aiello (plus their little dog Missy) for stopping by my Grand Junction abode with their big RV camper on the way to the Grand Canyon! My super handy Dad installed new house numbers, new mailbox, an E-lock (for when you come to visit 😉), mounted a TV, and fixed a bunch of little things. My amazing s-mom cooked delicious foods and stocked the kitchen with new goodies! I'm so grateful for these two.

Well after many long HOT 🥵 hours building in the sun, it's finally done! We can't wait to host friends and family at this vacation home. August 27th and 28th - don't miss "Mike the Headless Chicken Festival" in Fruita (just 15 minutes from home-sweet-home). Mike, a real chicken, began his headless odyssey September 10, 1945, when his owners, Clara and Lloyd Olsen of Fruita, selected Mike as the entrée for their dinner. To their amazement, Mike survived the decapitation - in fact he survived for 18 months and became a national celebrity.

Well, the cat is out of the bag folks! 🐱 All glory be to God, we recently purchased the most adorable vacation home in one of our favorite spots, the high mesa desert valley of Grand Junction, Colorado! This home-away-from-home is the perfect spot to rest, relax, and rejuvenate! There are some big plans in store and we can't wait to share with ya'll soon (come visit!!!). 🙏❤🏡
