A name I adopted after my bright red laces and signature shoe shots! I think it fits my personality perfectly. Born in Zimbabwe, raised in South Africa (yes I have an accent) in a small town near the border of the Kruger National Park. I refer to myself as a bush baby. I grew up loving the bush and all its wonderful wildlife. I count myself so blessed to have grown up in Africa in a family with a
passion for the outdoors and adventure. I have been able to do and experience things that most people would dream of. I wouldn’t change a single thing - from running away from hippos and black mambas, riding ostriches to hugging hyenas and raising orphan animals. I truly believe that it was these experiences that molded my character, personality and helped form the foundation that led me to this adventure in my life. My family installed in me a love and respect for nature and I love sharing this with others. I was always raising baby birds and animals and saving every living creature I could. At 19 I moved to London and worked in various roles on the metro system from driving Tube trains to assisting with the management of frontline staff. It added to my life experience and taught me a lot about myself and people in general. I was blessed with incredible experiences in the UK and grew through challenges. I got hooked on hiking when I attempted to hike Mount Snowdon in Wales fully unprepared and LOVED every second of it! I caught the hiking bug. I continued hiking in many parts of the world including Europe, South America, Africa, Russia and Indonesia. It wasn't until I moved to the States as a Ranch Hand in 2018 to work horses and cattle, that my passion for hiking reached new levels. Spoilt with incredible national parks and a vastly diverse landscape to explore, I road tripped and hiked the west extensively. After 2 years in Texas I settled in Grand Junction Colorado and fell in love with the mountains, its plants, animals and history. Over the years I've hiked hundreds of trails and learnt so much about the wildlife and environment. The great outdoors makes my heart happy and it is my desire and passion to share this with people seeking to experience life to its fullest. Hiking for me puts life into perspective. I have found that it is impossible to walk in nature and be in a bad mood at the same time. Hire me for an adventure that will color your life experience and story! It's far more important to collect memories instead of things. Oh the sights we will see!
