COVID-19 has changde the whole world in a matter of months and with that plans and businesses for millions of people.
Even though we have to wait until 2021 to offer your our amazing tours, we consider ourselves fortunate that we were and are able to put Dead Horse Adventures on pause until the situation is under control and the proper safety guidelines will be in place.
Even though this, to put it very mildly, sucks...
It also means we will be back in 2021 stronger, well prepared and ready to offer you tours with the right guidelines, loads of nature, camping and natural social distance.

This is somewhere in the Colorado backcountry down an unnamed road.
Even a wrong turn can turn out to be a beautiful adventure, everything just depends on your point of view on things.

Quarantine is not fun, but it is however a necessity right now...

On the upside it does leave you with time to plan next years Adventures and what better to plan than a adventure trip into the wild Colorado nature away from the big crowds and cities 🏞🏕🤠

This road makes you feel like you are driving through the set of a John Wayne movie 🤠

The world is currently placed in standby mode due to Covid-19, people and businesses all over the world affected and suffering.

For us it is no different, this should have been our first operational year as a tour operator. Due to the unforeseen circumstances we have chosen to postpone all 2020 tours until 2021.

Meanwhile here in Instagram land we will dig deep down into our archives and post pictures from all of our experiences in the U.S. to make the wait not feel so long 😷

1. Backcountry road near Moab, turned down a small trail near the Colirado state line and the condition of the road gradually got worse, all the way up to the road was gone but too late to turn around. Just before we reached the highway we saw the sing.... they just didn't place one from the other side 🤪😂

2. Flight over the Rockies just before touchdown in Denver intl. Airport

4. This is the first of a series of point of view shots from the road. This is how you will experience your trip and discover america with us.

5. Oh yeah and we looooove the Grand Canyon ❤ when not cruising and exploring the Rocky Mountains, this is one of our favorite destinations. Once you get about 1-2miles down the trail the circus you find top side disappears and all you are left with is nature and what ever you carried down in you backpack.

6-7. The Rocky Mountain backcountry is one of the most beautiful places to travel and explore, as a tourist however, you need to rely on experienced tour operators to see these places since most of them are located in remote and isolated places.
Unlike most of europe these roads are not paved or maintained year round, instead they are rough and unspoiled which also adds to the rustic experience.

En hurtigt opdatering:

Som alle nok ved er Aktiv Ferie messen udskudt på grund af den forestående Covid-19 krise. Alle i rejsebranchen tager jo deres forholds regler og det vil vi selvfølgelig også gøre.

Så vi vil bruge den extra tid vi nu har i weekenden til at finde ud af hvad vores næste skridt herfra og fremadrettet nu vil være.

Vi håber alle derude passer godt på sig selv og hinanden, lader være med at hamstre og ellers på alle måder komme godt igennem denne globale krise.
