Today, our Netherlands Waterways Cruise group enjoyed a Huifkar (covered wagon) ride during a farm visit in the scenic village of Dwingeloo. In the 36 years that we've operated this tour, this is the first time we've included a Huifkar ride in the itinerary. It sure looks like our travelers had fun!

Today, we raised our glasses to celebrate the retirement of our dear receptionist, Deb. For the past 20 years, Deb has truly been the face and voice of Witte Travel as the first point of contact to greet every single one of our clients and callers. We will miss her warm, gentle spirit and cheerful nature -- along with her vast collection of novelty M&M dispensers! (Last year, we challenged Deb to bring in a new M&M dispenser from her collection to display at her desk each week, and she happily obliged with about 65 different M&M dispensers since then!)
