✨ Client Spotlight: Sierra & Brian’s Mexico Getaway ✨

Sierra and Brian were ready for a vacation—and fast! I got to work right away, pulling together several resort options, and they landed on one that seemed like the perfect fit. As their trip got closer, though, Sierra started second-guessing whether it was truly the vibe they wanted.

To ease any worries, I reached out to the tour operator to explore their options and confirmed they wouldn’t need to use their travel coverage if they decided to switch. I also checked in with my network of fellow travel advisors, who provided reassurance that I was able to pass along to Sierra. After talking through everything, she and Brian felt confident sticking with their original choice—ready to relax and enjoy!

I always tell my clients: I can be as hands-on (or hands-off) as you want me to be, but when you need me, I’m here. Now, I’m already helping them plan their next adventure!

Just Booked: A Romantic Return to Mexico!

C&S honeymooned in Mexico over a decade ago, and when they decided it was time to return, they wanted to make sure they picked the perfect spot. That’s where I came in!

After narrowing down options, we landed on Secrets Riviera Cancun, where they’ll be soaking up the luxury in a Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View King. Not only did we time this trip perfectly—steering clear of hurricane season and hunting season—but they’ll also enjoy the best of two resorts for the price of one!

Their stay includes all the upscale perks of Preferred Club at Secrets plus easy access to the livelier atmosphere at Breathless, the sister resort next door. Whether they’re looking for relaxation or a bit more energy, they’ll have the best of both worlds!

My family and I just got back from vacation this week, and I’m diving right into catching up—sharing recent client bookings and locking in trips for those who reached out while I was away! Resort Highlight: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

We just got back from staying in a Finding Nemo Family Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and let me tell you—the theming is a 10/10! My kids were in awe walking around and spotting their favorite characters from Cars, Finding Nemo, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid—all brought to life in larger-than-life form.

This resort is perfect for families, offering both standard Little Mermaid rooms and spacious family suites that sleep up to six and include two bathrooms (a huge perk), a kitchenette, and a Murphy bed that’s way more comfortable than you’d expect!

Art of Animation is also home to the Big Blue Pool, the largest pool at Walt Disney World, plus two smaller themed pools, an arcade, a playground, and easy access to the Skyliner, which makes getting to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios a breeze.

And here’s something important to remember for 2025 stays—every reservation includes a complimentary water park ticket (to either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon) for check-in day! That’s a fun way to start your vacation, especially if you arrive early.

We had the best day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom yesterday! Since DINOSAUR is our son’s favorite ride, we made sure he got a few last rides in before it closes to be rethemed to Indiana Jones. We also said goodbye to It’s Tough to Be a Bug! before it transforms into Zootopia—a favorite of ours!

One of the best parts of Disney is experiencing it through the years—watching the rides I grew up with become my kids’ favorites, and now getting to make new memories together with the exciting changes ahead. This trip, we even got to experience something brand new together: Disney’s Animal Kingdom after dark! With the later park hours this week, we took in the stunning bioluminescence of Pandora and watched the Tree of Life light up with its nighttime show.

My clients checked into Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort on Friday evening and kicked things off with a fireworks view right from their hotel—talk about a magical start!

The original plans I drafted for them had them in Magic Kingdom on Monday… until Disney announced a Super Bowl celebration parade would be happening that day. A fun surprise, but also a big curveball!

Luckily, I made them aware of this news, and we adjusted the game plan to keep their trip smooth and stress-free. Gotta love a little Disney magic—and a solid backup plan!

Just Booked!

The “H” family is all set for an incredible stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort! When they told me they wanted a true Disney experience, easy transportation to and from the parks, and a character breakfast, I knew the Contemporary was the perfect fit.

Not only does the Monorail glide right through the resort for seamless access to EPCOT, but they’ll also be just a 5-10 minute walk to Magic Kingdom—it doesn’t get much closer than that! And for a classic Disney dining experience, they’ll enjoy breakfast with Mickey and friends at Chef Mickey’s, right inside their hotel.

In my opinion, nothing captures the essence of Disney quite like the Contemporary. I’m so excited for the “H” family to experience the magic!

🌴 Client Spotlight: Costa Rica Adventure 🌴

Last month, Kris and her husband returned from an incredible 40th birthday celebration in Costa Rica! This trip honored her selfless first responder husband, and it was such a joy to help them plan this special getaway.

When a flight schedule change gave them an impossible connection (25 minutes in Atlanta 😳😱😩,) I jumped in right away to find a solution. My goal? Get them home on time for their daughter’s State Entymology competition—a big moment for their family.

Helping clients navigate these moments is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I take on the stress so they can focus on making memories, and seeing it all come together makes it so worthwhile.

With easy access to the Skyliner, they’ll glide right over to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. On their rest day, the kids will love splashing around at the Fuentes del Morro pool—or one of the five others on property.

✨ A Little Travel Truth ✨ When the opportunity to visit Universal Orlando came my way this summer, I almost said no. My heart belongs to Disney, and I was convinced it just wouldn’t measure up. It felt like walking into Ann Arbor as a Michigan State fan. Like swapping my beloved Pepsi for Coke. Like someone trying to pass olives off as pickles. You get the idea. But I said yes—hoping to learn at least one thing I could share with my clients. And guess what? I was completely wrong. I was shocked by how much I enjoyed it! I’d assumed Universal was more for teenagers, but I couldn’t have been more off base. From the moment I walked into Seuss Landing, I wished my kids were there with me. I imagined them loving the rides, exploring a real-life Diagon Alley, dancing to Trolls songs, biking with E.T., and devouring the seriously delicious food (looking at you, Mythos). By the end of the week, I left a full-on fan. Here’s the thing: two truths can exist at once. I can love Disney and have room in my heart for Universal. Curious to see what all the hype is about? Yesterday, my mom, my 3 sisters and I spent Shop Small Saturday supporting some amazing local businesses! 🛍️ We stopped by Polka Dot Paisley, Vintage Redefined, Clove and Crown, and Rachel Cielo to shop, made a pit stop at RAD DADS' Tacos and Tequila Bar to refuel, and refreshed at Hair by Brooke Borek. My sweet boy stopped me on our walk into the garage this morning and said, “Look, Momma! That water spot looks like the Disney castle!” 🥹🥰 I love witnessing how my kiddos brains work 💚

Allure of the Seas made its way back into Miami around 6:30 a.m. on Friday. We chose to carry off our own bags, which let us disembark right after the gangway went down at 7:45 a.m. and we were off the ship in about 20 minutes (highly recommend this option if you can!) I'm so thankful for the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the Royal Caribbean brand and to learn (and laugh way too much) alongside my fellow Genie Travel Co. Travel Advisors. While I loved every minute of this experience, I was more than ready to squeeze my kiddos when I got home!
