Are you looking for a new way to collect your Disney autographs? I saw this in one of my groups. Couldn’t share so I did a screenshot so the poster gets credit!
Today I was on my way to get my hair done (Kaitlynn at V Salon is amazing) in Alton and I passed this so of course I had to stop on the way home. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. And, Alton has a lot of antique stores, the spot of one of Lincoln and Douglas debates, and a statue of Robert Wadlow (tallest man) just to name a few things. You can also drive up the River Road for beautiful scenery!
This is a food truck park. Today there were two trucks. There is also an open air bar serving local drinks (alcohol and nonalcoholic. They even had free water in a cooler)
It was in the 90’s today but there is a covered table area with such great ceiling fans it felt like AC.
After ordering we were given a beeper. It took about 10 minutes to get our food and it was delicious. It was also very reasonably priced. Mine was $15 for the meal and the chicken nachos were $14

I love road trips. We gave ourselves extra time and ended up stopping at a zoo, and the oldest diner on Route 66! It was a nice day. Now on to hear Josh Gates talk and a ghost hunt at the Joplin Prison.
