Shoppers are already out and about in association with the Granite Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau - CVB Holiday Kickoff efforts in downtown Granite Falls today beginning at 3 p.m. Pam Rosenau and Jennifer Garcia Gray are pictured setting up some fun photo opportunities for families, couples and selfies. And the same can be said for Melissa Syring who has established a festive photo opportunity out front of her store Falls Boutique that will provide an opportunity for photos with the Grinch in addition to some taste testing's of unique jellies and jams as 'can't miss' Christmas gifts.

Tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 23, the holiday season begins in Granite Falls with an assortment of major happenings led by the Granite Falls CVB's Holiday Kickoff beginning at 3 p.m. This event will feature an abundance of activities for the whole family including (but not limited to) carriage rides, kids crafts, holiday shopping deals and a Tree Lighting ceremony and dedication of the CVB sponsored permanent Christmas Tree at 5 p.m. Other activities on Saturday include the 30th Anniversary celebration of Prairie Mercantile Antiques (runs through Sunday, Nov. 24), the Prairie's Edge Casino Resort's 50+ vendor Taste & See Extravaganza Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as well as the Lee Mar Ranch Equine Center's 2nd Amendment Bingo and Raffle event (doors open at 5 p.m.), which will be catered by the Granite Falls Legion.

More details about the events can be found in the attached flyers. Make sure to get out and about so we can support our local businesses and community efforts and share in the spirit of the season.

Additionally, don't forget that the following Saturday, Nov. 30 constitutes Small Business Saturday.

Look forward to seeing everyone out and about this coming weekend. In this season of thanks, the Granite Falls Chamber of Commerce is ever thankful for our wonderful community and all of our supporting Chamber members.
