It’s a Winter Wonderland right now in Grants Pass. We have a bit of snow down on the valley floor. It’s pretty unusual to have our forecast include snow for a few days! Fortunately it really is only sticking to the houses and grassy areas. Still, it was such a lovely wish come true to have a White Christmas this year.

This little guy is a dare devil!
When you try a different entry style.
When you know everyone is having fun.
Summer came early this year! Or maybe I should say, “Springtime is outstanding this year!” The pool is open, flowers are blooming, and the weather is about as perfect as you could ask for.
Today we brought out the new and improved ‘Inflata-Bull’. There were some successful riders and a couple of notable unexpected dismounts. The kids have managed to nearly empty the pool toy shed of any possible thing to utilize in the pool, and have them displayed in a random order all over the pool deck. We even have a Lego station, oddly under the slide. All in all, it’s been a lovely few days with good friends and my sweet family.
And, here we have Maddie showing her bravery on the water slide, into the deep end as well.
Here comes the sun! The days are mostly warm now, with an occasional warmish rainstorm, fatty raindrops included. Everything is blooming and it’s my all time favorite time of the year, especially in Southern Oregon.
Best part, for DunMovin’, the pool is open. The other best part for DunMovin’ guests, it’s not summer rates yet. 🤩
Enjoy a quick getaway if you can find an open date on my calendar, there are still a few open days. Summer is also filling up a little faster than expected.
If you are reading this, are one of DunMovin’s friends, know you can book directly by contacting me. Save yourself some booking fees, and know that the rate I publish is the rate you will pay. No hidden fees when you book direct.
Have a lovely spring, summer and beyond.
The Motto for Grants Pass is “It’s The Climate”.
It surely is one of the main reasons I chose to move here in 2014. There are four distinct seasons and the really awesome ones are longer than the not so awesome ones.
Today we woke up to mild weather, a bit cold -around 46. Around 1:00 I noticed a tiny little wet snow flurry, so I grabbed my iPad and took a video quick to share. At 4:00, we’ve got about 6” of snow (didn’t think it would stick to be honest). Also our local weather forecast is for snow off and on this week. After that no doubt we will get spring (I’m hopeful).
Enjoy my Valhalla.
