Beautiful accommodations with great amenities. I loved that paper towels, large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap was provided, including dishwasher soap and trash bags. The multiple hammocks and hot tub was a plus!!! Plenty of towels for the bath and outdoor fun.

We had a lovely stay at the Log House, and can't wait to go back again. It was the perfect get away for us as a family of 5 with kids ranging from 2 - 12. The weather was still warm enough for the swimming hole (plenty of toys and floaties provided!), they loved playing ping pong, and there was a game closet full of puzzles, games and toys to keep all the kids happy. The loft is packed with wonderful books for all ages, and it turned out to be a favorite spot for all of our kids. Diane was so lovely to work with - super responsive and communicative. The house was super clean when we arrived, and also a special thank you to Diane for the wonderful sheets on the beds!! I always appreciate nice sheets :) Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, Diane!

The Grass Valley log home is a very special place to rest and unwind. The home itself was constructed by the owners and it is fine workmanship with amazing details. It has cathedral ceilings with high windows that look out to the surrounding nature. The sound from the stream in the back makes you feel like you are miles from civilization. It is a very well appointed home with all the comforts you need.
Everything about it is clean, comfortable and adorned with love.
It is a lovely getaway home. We will definitely return soon.

We loved our stay here for our daughter's wedding.

While we only live 2 miles from this property, we rented it out for a special place for my daughter and bridesmaids' to stay the evening before her wedding. It was so fun having the 7 girls getting ready together in a fun, relaxed environment. We used the back yard for pre-ceremony photos of the girls and and immediate family. The bride and groom spent their wedding night there as well. I would hightly recommend this property - quaint, relaxing, fully stocked. The only advice I would give is if you are using this for a wedding "getting ready" house - bring some extra full length mirrors - you can get them at target for $5, and lean them up against wall space. Mirror and bathroom space limited when you have 8 girls getting fancy! My daughter and her husband want to make this home an annual getaway for their anniversary! Thank you for a great stay! My only regret was that we didn't have the house longer!!!

Another great guest comment: We had a great time staying at the log house. My wife and I brought our two small children and dog and met my parents here for a long weekend. We all had a great time. The backyard was filled with hammocks that were a lot of fun at night, and the kids loved playing ping pong downstairs. The house provided plenty of space, and was incredibly clean and well-cared for. The nearby state parks made for great day trips. Hope to return soon!

A New Review! Love happy and returning guests (3 times)!

Had a wonderful time here again. It was peaceful. Had fun exploring. The dog snuggles up in his travel bed and has a great time. Looking forward to booking another get away here. The house has such a wonderful open feeling. Love it!
