Every photographer has their own favorite photos and this one of the two elephants meeting each other is certainly one of my favorites. It was very nice to receive this "Titan" award from VIEWBUG. Nice to receive positive strokes on what one does, hopefully you have received some positive strokes on what you do today.

They were dark and far away at the back of my property very late in the day but the cuteness still shows in the little fawn that couldn't have been more than a few days old. Nice to see the beauty in these challenging times.

A good time to reflect on the joys and rewards of being a photographer has brought to me with good friends and doing something truly creative and worthwhile. I will be having a slide show at the Nevada County Library with a collection of photos from two Africa trips and talks about safaris there. The exact date is not set yet but will be in early May.
