Kurt Kolka, from Grayling, has written a powerful fiction book about bullying based on his own experiences. The book tells of Jan's experiences as he goes through school. Even his father calls him a sissy which has not helped at all. But Jan meets an unexpected mentor who helps him through this time. This is a good story, not only for teens, but for parents on how to recognize when a child is being bullied. You can find the book here at Family Bookshelf.
