I try to live my life as a mensch and treat others with love and dignity. I’m only human and sometimes fail. If I have hurt you in any way this year I apologize. If I helped you in any way, I’m thankful and would do it again in a heartbeat. If I didn’t, I wish could have tried harder and done more. And for those who have helped me, I’m forever grateful. I will always try my best even if at times I fail.

My wish for this next year is a world at peace and healing, and that all the hostages being held in captivity are brought back to their families.

British Airways - you should not be allowed to operate the way you do! Treating people like your prisoners cannot continue for hours on end.

Today I am a caged prisoner inside of Hell - I mean Heathrow! No matter how long our delays keep happening you would literally have to be dying in an ambulance for them to let you go outside and get fresh air. If you want to go outside you have to (1) be es**rted out by a British Airways rep and the es**rt is only available every hour on the hour; and (2) - this is the best! - you have to give up your ticket and seat because they don’t guarantee you will make it back in on time for your trip and so if you walk out of Terminal 5, your boarding pass becomes null and void, you give up your seat, and when you come back in you have to go through the entire check in line again, get a new boarding pass, then again immigration, then security.

Yesterday we left Rome and we are now in Melegnano (just outside Milan) and heading with Eli and her family up to Lake Como. I’m so excited. But here are some more pics from Rome. The Roma Termini train station is like a city of its own with shopping, dining, entertainment, and transportation to/from all corners of Italy.
