Pinnacle Performers Private Music Lessons & Instruction - Learn from a Professional Musician at a reasonable price. Lesson Plans: Lessons are tailored to each student based on their current skill level, aesthetic, and their desire to perform live. Goals are set at the trial lesson based on the wishes/desires of my students (and/or parents). I’ve taught everything from jazz to folk to musical theat

- In-Studio Rate (Grayslake): $25 for a 45 minute lesson, $30 for a 60 minute lesson – taught to a single student (Group Rates available upon request)

- At-Home Travel Rate: $40/hour – will teach 45 & 60 minute lessons to a single student (Group Rates available upon request) - Travel Locations: Gages Lake, Grayslake, Gurnee, Hainesville, Ingleside, Ivanhoe, Lake Villa, Lakemoor, Libertyville, Lindenhurst, Long Lake, Mundelein, Round Lake, Round Lake Beach, Vernon Hills, Volo, Wauconda, & Wildwood.

- Evening hours and weekends currently available.

- Experience: I have been giving lessons for over 8 years after playing professionally for over 20 years. I have played or sang on 30+ albums and projects as a solo performer for hire, including a six song project used in Paul Allen’s “Recording Techniques” display at the EMP Museum in Seattle, Washington. I have a Minor in Music Composition & Theory from the University of Iowa.

- Philosophy: I have worked for other music lesson providers, but they are very cookie cutter in their approaches. I do NOT teach to the desires of the teacher or a curriculum that a student will never use. I teach to the desires of the student. I will, of course, infuse some direction and coursework into all of my lessons, as well. Guitar (Acoustic & Electric) - Chord Structures, Lead Exercises, Reading Charts/Music/Tabs, Improvisation, Rhythm Patterns, Songwriting

Voice - Solfege, Sightsinging, Range & Articulation Instruction, Breath Control

Trumpet - Articulation, Breath Control, Increasing Range, Embouchure Training, Strength Exercises

Computer/IPad – Songwriting Seminars, Garageband Seminars
