TIME CHANGE FOR TONIGHT’S CITY COUNCIL MEETING DUE TO THE WEATHER
Great Bend, Ks, February 18th, 2025- The City of Great Bend would like to notify residents that the City Council meeting originally scheduled for tonight at 6:30 PM will now take place at 5:00 PM due to inclement weather.
The meeting will be streamed live on Facebook at "Great Bend City Council". Additionally, a recording of the meeting will be uploaded to the city’s website and will be available on Cox City Channel 20 starting tomorrow.
We appreciate the community’s understanding and encourage residents to tune in online or on television to stay informed.

PARKING ON BROADWAY AND 24TH
Great Bend, Ks, February 14, 2025- Please be advised that with the potential weather Monday night February 17th and into Tuesday February 18th, we are kindly asking individuals to not park on the streets that live on:
• Broadway between Main Street and Cherry Lane
• 24th Street between Main Street and McKinley
We will again try this approach to snow removal in these areas with the hope this will allow crews to clear snow more effectively and safely. We are attempting to minimize the number of driveways that will be blocked due to our removal efforts. As is during the main operations of removal we will not be opening driveways. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our streets clear and safe.
Please be attentive as crew members work in the clearing of snow and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank you again for your patience.
