The City of Great Bend Convention & Visitors Bureau, Barton Community College, and the Shafer Art Gallery have teamed up to submit a bid to host the 2025 Kansas Museums Association Conference right here in Great Bend! To showcase all that our vibrant community has to offer, we’ve collaborated to create a video that highlights Great Bend’s unique attractions, central location, and exceptional hospitality. This video is a testament to the incredible partnership between our organizations and our shared vision of welcoming KMA professionals from across the state. Check out the video and see why Great Bend is the perfect destination to “Meet in the Middle” for the 2025 KMA Conference! We’re proud to work together to make Great Bend a hub for learning, innovation, and connection in the museum community. Let’s make this happen!

A fun way to start the Tuesday after Labor Day! The 2024 Party in the Park review video!! We did have a rainy day and it wasn't the best turnout ever, but overall it was a wonderful event and we thank each and every one of you who support the event! Hope to see you again next year - it's the 2nd Saturday in August!
